Another Day at Work

Today we rode a bunch of shows with Division BMX, right in downtown Milwaukee. The shows were super fun and we got to hang out with the Milwaukee crew, full of red heads, Avitars, and shit talking announcers. Always a good time. Then after, because it was so hot, Lil Jon took us to a fishing pier. Within minutes, we were scaring all the drunk guys fish away diving in the water.... in our boxers. The people on the tour boats were lovin it but the captains were salty. They called water police who came and shut us down. No tickets, no big deal, sorry for blowing up your spot LJ. Just a fun way to end the day and head to Chicago!

In all, it was a great day... Got to hang out with a bunch of awesome people and ride some ramps in the middle of the streets. Thanks to Micah and Astrike for hookin it up as usual. Now were off to Chicago for a few days, then figure out how we're getting to the next dew stop in Portland! Keep updated for more riding, adventures, and whatever happens on the long ass drive to Portland.

Wisconsin DOT TV commercial

So I don't know if the fellow Gamble followers heard yet but Team Gamble is famous, I mean, we're kind of a big deal being on TV and all. haha  Recently Team Gamble riders were hired to film a TV commercial for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.  The commercial was an anti drunk driving commercial,  (by the way Team Gamble riders never drink) and the pitch was, we do crazy tricks on our bikes, but we would never do anything as crazy as drink and drive.

It was difficult shooting in the dark skate park especially because we couldn't use flashes while they were filming. I still managed to get some pretty rad shots of Kyle Biller.  Check the one out right above!

Shooting this commercial involved doing the same trick over and over again, and saying some really corny lines, but hopefully it will all come together to make a kick ass commercial.

All in all it was a really long day of filming, starting at 7am.  The commercial will only show in Wisconsin but will air for the next year or so and it will also be played during Milwaukee Brewers, Bucks, and Packers games, so if you live in Wisconsin be prepared to see us all over your TV! 

gamble updates!

Not much has been heard from gamble in a while but that is because we have been on vacation mode enjoying the beaches and Dew Tour in Ocean City Maryland.  We have decided that it is one of our new favorite places, it was definitely hard to leave.  Here's a picture I took from my phone off of our 7th floor balcony of the beach. But here are some rushed pictures we took late tonight, that we promised earlier.  It's too bad we didn't get any riding photos of the captain himself, he had to leave early to attend to a little lady friend. But here is a quality late night Waldaddy trip pic to make up for it, and we'll see plenty of him since he's coming along to Maryland.

Lake Owen

Team Gamble took a short trip up to Lake Owen after all the summerfest mayhem.  Super good vibe here, and mad props to Jeff Dowen of BSD for letting us come up and hang out for a few days!

Had so much fun on the tramp bikes, first time Kyle and I got a chance to ride a tramp bike... on some legit as fuck trampolines!  If you haven't had a chance to make it up there to Lake Owen I definitely recommend it.  The lake brought a whole new atmosphere to the Woodward experience.  All and all it was good times with even greater people!

Racine Skatepark Wisconsin

We're going to rewind it back really quick for a moment hear and take us back to a quick day edit of Team Gamble and friends at Racine skate park up in Wisconsin.  We headed out to the skate park to get away from the nonstop partying and mahem while up at summerfest and this is what came of it.  Riders include Kyle Biller, Alex Landeros, and now two good friends of Gamble BMX, Jake Hinke and Rob Routley.  Look out for these two in the future! And congratulations to Rob, for getting a well deserved 3rd in the Gatorade free flow contest at Seasons Skate Park in Milwaukee.

Gamble Updates

So team Goddam Gamble has been marinating at the kitchen skatepark for the past few days, im talking fire roasted, flame broiled, and smothered in shred sauce.  Hangin out with hooligans such as JR (Rodney Jordan, dude gots two first names, wtf, so we call him JR, or Captain Ding Ding) Robbie, Brett, and Glenn.  Stay tuned for some shredding pictures soon!  Other news, Captain Ding Ding will be tagging along for the ride to Ocean City Maryland, super pumped to have him along for the trip in van, newly named the Innovation Station.  Theres been lots of innovating going on lately...

After 10 days of shows (with other shows and trips between) summer fest is finally overwith. It was an amazing time with Division BMX, and all the guys and homegirls hangin out. Thanks to Micah for bringing us along for the ride and Can's for showing everyone a goodtime at the after party. If you've never been to summer fest in Milwaukee, really need to make it out. It's the worlds biggest music festival and they're awesome enough to make division BMX a head line act. Can't wait for next year. Riddazz

Dew Tour

Team Gamble is really excited for this years coming Dew Tour!  First stop is in Ocean City Maryland July 20th. Make sure to tune into ESPN to watch Kyle Biller ride park and Alex Landeros ride park and vert.  Team Gamble will be in Ocean City Wednesday through Sunday so make sure to come out and hang out with the Team, we might even be giving out some free stuff!

The canoe trip was a chill break from non stop riding, we got to hang out with people other than 20 ratty bikers (lil Jon in his white cut off's and unbuttoned Hawaiian t). Was good to see Alex's family and turn typical canoeing into a mess... took the wrong paths and ended up putting a hole in the canoe, haha made it back before it filled up with too much water. By the time we were back from canoeing, we had to haul back to the shows with 5 minutes to spare before the actual shows started!

Circus Skatepark St Charles IL

Super glad we were able to stop in here for a quick hour session.  The park has really come a long way since it first opened, I'd say with the new setup it is finally a legit park to be proud of, and circus just hosted a Gatorade Free Flow Tour stop.  If you are ever in the Chicago land area I def recommend checking it out, it will be worth it!  I'd have to say they now have the best box jump I have ever riden! Big thanks goes out to Scott, the new owner of the park.  He definitely is keeping the park headed in the right direction!

All and all it was a good day, well worth the drive out to south bend and back.  Im excited to wake up tommorrow, plans are to ride circus skatepark in St. Charles IL and then head on up to Milwaukee for more of the funnest shows on earth, Summerfest!

Team Gamble BMX

Team Gamble BMX is officially up and running! Following team riders Kyle Biller and Alex Landeros on their adventures, struggles, and good times around the country. Two riders who broke free from the 9 to 5 grind to take a more simple, fun life on the road.  So far, there have been no regrets, too many good times, and so many amazing friends!  This blog page is going to document their travels through words, pictures and video.  Stay tuned!
