So Christian Van Hanja from ART BMX Magazine came to the States to visit and photograph the Southern California BMX scene and brought along JC Pieri.  A filmer with mad skill and creativity.  I was fortunate enough to get to know both of these frenchies really well as they stayed at my house for two weeks.  Christian plans on publishing and printing  the magazine to the states along with France, and this content that JC and Christian got should show up in some of the first American issues.  Click the link and watch this video by JC, its dope as hell!

Mega Ramp 2.0 with Tony Hawk

Well it's been a fun week of riding MegaRamp 2.0 before they tear it down, pack it up and ship it to China for the China X Games.  There's been a ton of skateboarder shredders skating the ramp all week such as PLG and Tony Hawk, along with a handful of rippers who aren't even old enouph to drive!  Scope some of my favorite pictures from the week.

Well another amazing trip in the books, It's all history now, let's just start the countdown for my next visit to Costa Rica!

Beach Day was fun, a new good friend of mine Felipe Gallegos, a local took us to Alligator bridge, Jaco and Hermosa beaches along with a private beach in which his uncle owned a house!  He showed us around the city of Jaco along with showing us the best place to eat.  Hanging out with Felipe all week was definitely awesome with pretty amazing experiences!

By the end of my week there, I had gotten to know everyone who works at the Hotel la Rosa De America.  They were so hospitable, inviting me in to eat free lunch with them and hang out.  Shout outs to my beautiful hotel receptionista Maria Fernanda who took me out on the town one night, and Victor the night guard who I would hang out with late nights after I got home from the night life.

After spending some time in the Midwest, it was time to head out to the east coast for more Monster Jam shows and endless adventures.  After our first show in Greensboro NC, we jetted off to Greenville where we spent the week with Quinn Semling and Josh Harrington.  These Days included riding legendary spots such as Jaycee Skate park and the Unit, Partying, Birthdays, Keg stands, and going to bed no earlier than the average time of about 4 am every day.  Plus, I might have been carried out of a bar while wearing a Kenny Powers mullet wig... might have.

Ok so last blog post was all about the jam.  And the jam and after party were sick.  But thanks to a hospital trip the next day me me, I found out that I broke my hand on a bad crash late in the afternoon.

Christmas Jam 2011 @ Bens Backyard

On Sunday the 11th of December we threw a Christmas Party... BMX style.  But back up a week and you will find all the roommates working hard, in between kick ass sessions of course, to prepare for this event.  I mean we had to prepare, we were expecting 2-300 people or more!  Yes a lot of work went into this event and I have to say it couldn't have gone off any better.  We had Ari from Protec sponsoring the event, grilling up delicious burgers, we had coolers and coolers full of vitamin water to give out, and probably the best part, we had Agave Underground Tequila in house giving out free sample shots to anyone of age.  All that plus a bunch of shredders and killer ramps to ride?  If you ask me that is a golden recipe for a bmx barbecue jam!

In between what seemed like power sessions for AJ, (the dude was killing it all day long) He could be found on the mic, talking shit, cracking jokes, calling people out, haha it was a good time.

After the sun went down and all the kids went home, the fiesta started.  It seemed like there were a few separate parties within the big party,  the dj dance floor party, the room parties, the open garage party, and of course the on top of the garage party!  You could have found me at any one of these, doing laps and talking with everybody, but I do believe I was on the dance floor the most.  The party raged, and when everyone went home, the Roommates kept raging.  I built a big bonfire and we kept it going until early hours of the morning, cracking jokes and reminiscing about how rad the day had been.

Thanks to all the sponsors who helped out, everybody who came and showed support, and all of our media people documenting the event with photos and video.  I want to especially thank all my good friends over at Agave Underground for supplying us with what seemed like way too much tequila...until we finished every last drop.

After some really fun Holloween parties in Orange County, we decided to pack up and head to Vegas, why? Why not, it's Vegas!  A couple days trip turned into a whole week of partying and getting crazy every night.  This picture is from our first night there at a mansion party that was too much too even try and explain.
